A bespoke garment is cut for one person. Nothing is taken off a rail and adjusted afterwards — the pattern is made to your measurements, and the fit is settled in fittings rather than guessed at.

We make to measure in our Summertown studio: suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, waistcoats, dresses and skirts. Everything is cut, fitted and finished on site by our own tailors.

You supply the fabric. Bring the cloth you have chosen and we will tell you whether there is enough of it for the garment you want, and what else it needs.

How long it takes

A made-to-measure garment usually takes one to two weeks. If you have a date to work to, tell us when you come in and we will be straight with you about whether it is possible.

How it works

Come in during opening hours — no appointment needed. Bring your fabric, and a garment you already like the fit of if you have one, because it is the quickest way to explain what you want. We measure and fit you in person in our changing room, and quote the job before we start. Every commission is different, so we price each one individually.
