Ready-made curtains come in a handful of sizes and almost no window matches one of them. We make curtains to measure, and alter curtains you already own, in our workroom in Summertown.

Everything is made and altered on site by our own machinists, in the same workroom as the tailoring.

What we make and alter: made-to-measure curtains; existing curtains shortened, lengthened, narrowed or re-headed; blinds; cushions; table linen and bed linen.

Fabric and lining

You supply the face fabric — we do not stock fabric, so please bring the material you have chosen. Lining is easier: bring your own, or ask us to source it for you.

Measuring and quotes

Curtain work is priced by the pair, the drop and the finish, so every job is quoted individually. Bring your measurements, or your existing curtains, and we will price it in the shop. If you would rather not measure yourself, we can come and measure at your house for an additional visit fee — ask us when you come in. If you are measuring yourself, measure the pole or track rather than the window, and tell us how far below the sill you want the curtains to fall.
