Uniform is bought big and grown into, which means it spends most of its life the wrong length. We take it up, let it down, take it in and put it right — and we are on the Banbury Road, a short walk from the Summertown shops.

Everything is done on site in our Summertown workroom, and you do not need an appointment. Bring it in during opening hours.

What we do: trousers and skirts shortened or let down; blazer sleeves shortened, and let down again next year; waists taken in; name tags sewn in; buttons replaced; seams, pockets and knees repaired; sports kit repairs.

Name tags

Very quick turnaround on name tags, right through the school year. Desperate school parents appreciated, supported and prioritised.

Letting hems down

We keep as much seam allowance as we can when we shorten, so there is something to let out next year. Letting a hem down rather than buying the next size costs less, and it is one fewer blazer in landfill.
